THE WORLD’S ONLY FLYING F4U-1D CORSAIR

Up there with the most famous fighters of WWII, the Corsair, a.k.a ‘The Whistling Death’, earned its renown through its incredible speed, ruggedness and impressive firepower that proved very effective in the Pacific Theatre in particular. With its inverted gull wings, there’s no mistaking this warbird as it tears through the sky at speeds up to 640km/h - thanks to its high-performance Pratt & Whitney R-2800 2000+hp engine.

Hawker Sea Fury

AUSTRALIA’S ONLY FLYING HAWKER SEA FURY

The Hawker Sea Fury was a British fighter aircraft developed for the Royal Navy by Hawker during the Second World War. The last piston-driven fighter to serve with the Royal Navy, it was also one of the fastest production single engine piston driven aircraft ever built reaching a speed of 485 mph. A demilitarized Sea Fury holds the unofficial speed-record for a piston-engined aircraft in level flight at 547 mph.

THE Sky Aces Formation AerobaticS TEAM

The world-famous Sky Aces consists of three aircraft that perform a array of dazzling formation aerobatics in very close proximity. Not only do the SkyAces performances entail skilful formation loops and rolls but also dynamic head to head stunts, which are guaranteed to leave your spectators gasping in awe!

The team is led by freestyle champion and aerobatic legend Paul Bennet, in his one-of-a-kind Wolf Pitts Pro. Joining him is Australia’s youngest professional stunt pilot, his 19-year-old son, Jett Bennet, and 2023 Australian Aerobatic Champion Glenn Graham. All are qualified to perform the stunts all the way down to surface level, giving the spectators an incredible view of the display. 

The Sky Aces are loved across Australia and are showcased at the biggest airshows the country has to offer. They have also been an international hit - setting the standard for formation aerobatics across China and South Korea.

AUSTRALIA’S LATEST FLYING SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE

The Spitfire isn’t just an aircraft—it’s a legend. With its sleek lines, razor-sharp agility, and unmistakable Merlin engine growl, this World War II fighter remains one of the most revered warbirds ever built.

This stunning Mk IX Spitfire is one of Australia’s newest restored warbirds, and will be heading to Mudgee for the first time in 2025. Catch this masterpiece of engineering take to the skies in a breathtaking display that will leave you in awe of its power and elegance!

PIPER CUB ROLLING TRUCK LANDING

Watch on in amazement as champion pilot Paul Bennet performs an incredible stunt – attempting to land a Piper Cub on the back of a moving Chevy pickup as it races down the runway! This display has become a crowd-favourite wherever Paul and his team go.

CURTIS P-40 KITTYHAWK

With two shy of 12,000 P-40 Kittyhawk’s made during WWII, their strength was in the number built. 

The Kittyhawk was one of two variants operated by the RAF, and two P-40’s were the first aircraft valiantly taken up in response to the attack of Pearl Harbour.

North American T28 Trojan

The T-28 Trojan is a piston-engine military trainer that was used by the United States Air Force and Navy beginning in the 1950's. Besides being a trainer, the T-28 was employed as a counter insurgency aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War.

CESSNA 02

Consisting of a twin-engine push-pull configuration, this bird is easy to spot with its twin-boom tail. She operated in Vietnam with 20th Tactical Air Support Squadron and was in service with the military until the late 1980s. The 02 featured in the movie Bat 21 with Gene Hackman and Danny Glover.

The word "Wirraway" is an Aboriginal word meaning "challenge". The Wirraway was a training and general purpose military aircraft manufactured in Australia, built by the Commonwealth Aircraft Company between 1939 and 1946.

Whether on the ground or in the air, this aircraft is sure to draw attention wherever it goes! The massive 1942 Grumman Avenger was a torpedo bomber developed initially for the United States Navy and features a unique folding wing arrangement for aircraft carrier operations.

Yakovlev Yak-52

The Yakovlev Yak-52 is a Soviet primary training aircraft which first flew in 1976 and is powered by the distinct sounding M14P radial engine. The development of the aircraft incorporates a number of features to be found on the early postwar fighters.

The Edge 540 is an Unlimited aerobatic monoplane powered by a 350hp Lycoming engine. Displayed by one of our unlimited aerobatic pilots, the display showcases the aircraft’s precision and performance that has made this design so popular at air races around the world.

BELL 206 LONGRANGER WATER-BOMBING DEMO

A proven workhorse of the skies, the Bell 206 LongRanger is known for its reliability, agility, and versatility. Used around the world for firefighting, search-and-rescue, and general transport, this helicopter will demonstrate its capabilities in a live water-bombing display at Wings, Wheels & Wine! Thanks to Commercial Helicopters, attendees can also take to the skies with joy flights available at the event for just $100 per person.

RC MODEL JETS

Enjoy some impressive displays by a range of model RC jets, showing just how much fun you can have flying, without even sitting in the cockpit. RC models are a great way to get the younger generation interested in flying before they can jump into the cockpit of their bigger counterparts.

Drones are becoming a more integral component of many industries. Check out a demonstration of the DJI Agras T50’s handling and spraying capabilities thanks to the team at Aero Farm.
